Zumba

Zumba is a Colombian slang term that means to move fast or buzz like a bee. It is a fitness program that combines Latin music and easy-to-follow dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training, alternating fast and slow rhythms and resistance training. Zumba is a type of exercise that blends upbeat music with dance movements to create a total body workout. Not only is Zumba incredibly fun, it is an excellent form of cardiovascular exercise. A high-intensity Zumba workout can burn up to 1,000 calories per hour. It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating.


STABILITY

Focuses on both big and small muscles giving temper and stability and correcting the posture and co-ordination of overall body movements. It tests the strength and resistance of one’s muscles and agility. It is of great use in healing certain sports injuries as well.



Power Yoga

A vigorous and more athletic style of yoga practice, emphasizing strength and flexibility working together. This class will physically and mentally challenge the practitioner to connect to their inner power, empowering their presence of mind and body. Excellent for losing weight and toning up.
